Daughter’s of the North
Daughters of the North is a textile design womenswear collection inspired by the Filles du Roi, the nearly 800 women sent from France to New France in the 17th century. Drawing on Baroque ornamentation, maritime imagery, and historical dress, the collection combines woven and printed textiles to explore themes of resilience, displacement, and personal heritage. Through this work, textiles become a storytelling medium that connects overlooked histories to contemporary design.
Beauty Overlooked
Inspired by the quieter details of Venetian Gothic architecture, this rectangular hair scarf design draws from the ornamentation of polifora windows, Gothic lancet arches, and spun rondels found throughout Venice’s historic façades. The border reflects the layered arches and tracery characteristic of Venetian Gothic design, while the field pattern references the circular glass rondels historically used in Venetian windows. Together, these motifs highlight the understated architectural details that contribute to Venice’s rich artistic heritage.
Something Doesn‘t Belong
Something Doesn’t Belong is inspired by The Empire of Light by René Magritte, this womenswear textile collection explores the contrast between light and shadow through prints that combine soft pastels with deeper, moody tones. Layered textures, intricate motifs, and subtle surreal details create textiles that feel both romantic and unexpected. These surrealist influences are translated into contemporary womenswear designs inspired by the fluid elegance of 1940s bias-cut silhouettes, creating understated drama.
Lady of the Flower
Lady of the Flower is a knit resort and swimwear collection inspired by the architectural elegance of the Florence Duomo and the striking contrast of Italy’s coastal landscapes. Translating the cathedral’s intricate structures and black-and-white marble detailing into textured knit constructions, the collection blends earthy neutrals with muted coastal tones to create a refined yet relaxed narrative for individuals drawn to timeless craftsmanship, Mediterranean romance, and effortless luxury.
Predetermined
Predetermined is a print and woven home furnishing collection inspired by the Visconti-Sforza tarot deck that explores life’s cyclical nature and the tension between mortality and the unknown. Rich, moody hues balanced with softer, ethereal tones create a refined maximalist narrative for art-history-driven individuals who view their home as a space for introspection and personal expression.
